Technology-enhanced Learning and Online Strategies, a unit within Virginia Tech’s Division
of Information Technology, is dedicated to the advancement of teaching and learning
through the thoughtful application of technology to the teaching process and learning
environments.

The project’s success was a culmination of a partnership between the Virginia Tech
Foundation, Virginia Tech, TKA Architects and MB Contractors, and consisted of a
complete renovation of12,400 square feet of space at the iconic University Mall. Work
included constructing several offices, three conference rooms, multipurpose room,
DIY room and break room, all surrounding a large centrally focused Open office and
Collaboration area which was constructed with prefabricated fully functional and movable
cubicles complete with electrical, finishes, interior storefronts and doors, with high-end
floating hexagonal ceiling clusters and custom light fixtures.
