Research performed at the new Deep Brain Stimulation office will help treat against neurological symptoms most commonly associated with Parkinson’s disease, such as
tremors, slowed movement, and walking problems. This 5,090 square foot office suite renovation consisted of new metal stud and gypsum walls, sound sealed doors, carpet, new bathrooms, breakroom, and a conference room with glass privacy walls. Challenges addressed with this project were associated with the installation of new electrical conduit and sprinkler piping that were in conflict with the existing HVAC ductwork. The existing ductwork occupied roughly one quarter of the space above the acoustical ceilings and required careful attention to installation
