Affiliated with Carilion Clinic, the Carilion Wellness Center added to and renovated the existing athletic facility. The addition included an elevator and a fitness area for free weights, weight machines, and cardio equipment. The addition is constructed of structural steel frame with EPDM roofing, exterior structural studs with EIFS, and outward sloping windows with tinted glazing. Renovations created space for Carilion Clinic’s physical therapy center and upgraded the HVAC and electrical systems.
