With just a four month turnaround time, the new main office of WFXR now possesses the capabilities for two of its channels to produce their own news programs in-house. The 14,000 square foot renovation more than triples the station’s previous location’s size and allows space for more high-definition broadcasting equipment, weather forecasting technology, and significantly more studio space for the production of daytime and nightly news. In addition to a breakroom, lobby, and boardroom, the space now houses all levels of staff such as upper management, sales, production, and engineering/ IT. The surrounding tenants in the complex remained in operation and undisturbed by construction.
