The helicopter hangar at Carilion Stonewall Jackson Hospital is the permanent home to the EC135 Life-Guard 12 helicopter and crew. The hangar is a 5,379 square foot, mixed-use building with living quarters and operations. It also serves as the primary site for routine maintenance and fueling. This hangar is a pre-engineered metal building connected to a wood frame structure with brick veneer and EIFS siding. The building consists of work rooms, bathrooms, kitchen, bedrooms, and offices.
