MB Contractors, Inc. announced today that Bob Yost has been promoted to Director of Operations.
In his new role, Yost takes responsibility for project management oversight and the direction of policies, objectives, and initiatives related to construction operations. This promotion capitalizes on Yost’s abilities to support current project managers as well as recruit, train, and mentor those of the future.
Yost joined MB Contractors as a project manager in 2005 and was promoted to senior project manager by 2007. With more than 25 years of construction and estimating experience, Yost has managed numerous education projects for the company, including the renovation and additions to Northside High School, Blue Ridge Community College’s new Information Technology Building, and most notably the construction of Virginia Tech’s Bishop-Favrao Hall—home to the Myers-Lawson School of Construction.
