MB Contractors, Inc. was awarded a $32 million contract by the Roanoke County School Board for the renovations and additions to four County schools—Cave Spring Elementary, Green Valley Elementary, Mount Pleasant Elementary, and William Byrd High School.
Earlier this year, MB Contractors completed the renovation and addition of Northside High School that recently won the Clean Valley Council’s Government Award for its reduced impact on the environment. Similar to the Northside project, the four new school renovations will incorporate geothermal heating and cooling—a green feature that provides significant energy cost savings.
Other recent awards for MB Contractors include Heartwood: Southwest Virginia’s Artisan Gateway in Abingdon, Va.
