Crozet Library Makes Great Progress

April 11, 2013

News29 in Charlottesville reported on the progress of the Crozet Library, highlighting the following:

Set to open in August 2013, the 6 million dollar upgrade of the Crozet Library is right on track.  Bill Schrader, Fundraising Chair for the Library, anticipates 40% more visitors the first year the renovated space is open.
He explains that the new space will include an early literacy room for preschoolers, separate ‘teens’ and ‘kids’ rooms, a 70- seat meeting room, a fireplace in the reading area, and–for the first time–offices for the librarians.  The project is now 75% complete.

DSCN5022In addition to its work on the Crozet Library, MB Contractors finished renovations to Roanoke’s City Market Building, and completed Heartwood: Southwest Virginia’s Artisan Gateway in Abingdon, Va.  MB Contractors is also completing work on Cave Spring Middle School for Roanoke County Schools and renovations to Roanoke City’s Elmwood Park.
